Stock photography is the supply of photographs licensed for specific uses. It is used to fulfill the needs of creative assignments instead of hiring a photographer. Today, stock images can be presented in searchable online databases. They can be purchased and delivered online. - Wikipedia
I first picked up a camera and built my first darkroom at age 14 and I was hooked on photography. Seven years later I took photojournalism at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary Canada and then more photography courses at Western Academy of Photography in Victoria BC a few years later. A couple of years later while in Victoria I became interested in stock photography but didn’t seriously start marketing my images until about five years ago. Most of my images are licensed through Alamy but I do have my own website as well. Below is a slide show of some of the images I have licensed.
